THANK YOU TO OUR KIND SPONSORS
We enjoy mixing up the experience for the young people that we support, which might mean, for example, bringing in some inflatables or organising a game of laser or nerf tag. Anything that encourages fitness, co-operation and teamwork, while still being hugely enjoyable for the kids. We also offer football coaching.

TA Sport Stars was set up by Tom Austin, a highly experienced coach, who demonstrated a passion for sport from a young age. TA Sport Stars offer a volunteering opportunity on camp. When your child reaches 15 and may not want to join the Star Academy, there is an option to come along and be involved as a volunteer. TA Sport Stars are proud to announce that over the years we have had 20-30 different volunteer coaches and last summer alone (2020) we had the biggest increase of volunteers helping on camp. With our TA Sport Stars coaches support, volunteers will help assist them throughout the day. Whether this be to help set up a specific game/activity, liaising with your Lead Coach, helping to encourage children, assisting the delivery of sports and to enjoy being involved in a sporting environment. Over the years we have had huge success stories with volunteers having the chance to train through TA Sport Stars and obtain the correct requirements to become a sports camp coach.
Here at TA Sport Stars we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Safer recruitment is key to how we operate and all staff and volunteers are expected to share our commitment and dedication to safeguarding. This is why all staff members follow the recommended requirements and more when it comes to safeguard and child protection training.
As a company, we aim to create an environment where young people feel safe and can thrive.
As Ofsted’s guidelines clearly state, child safety depends on a good child-to-staff ratio. That’s why at TA Sport Stars we follow Ofsted’s recommendations for every camp we deliver:
Aged 5 -6
For this age group, we insist on a ratio of just 8 children per staff member
For this age group, we have one staff member per 16 children
For this age group, we have one staff member per 20 children
