Extra-curricular activities - encouraging sport outside of school
At TA Sport Stars we believe that an extra-curricular programme is essential to providing the health and fitness levels a child’s need.
We understand that parents are working longer hours and teachers have added pressures, daily. Due to this, TA Sport stars are here to complement your school day by including a range of extra-curricular sport clubs.
The TA Sport Stars aim is to ensure that all children are able to have opportunities to engage in a wide range of sport and activities outside of the normal school day.
Extra-curricular clubs include:
BREAKFAST CLUB
The perfect way to wake up in body and mind is with a 30-to-45-minute sport or activity session before the school day. It’s been scientifically proven that physical activity in the morning improves a child’s concentration and focus for the day ahead.
LUNCH TIME CLUB
A supervised activity for children for 30 to 45 minutes during the lunch break. TA Sport Stars can provide sports for all year groups every lunchtime every week.
AFTER SCHOOL CLUB
TA Sport Stars provide a safe, fun and social environment for 60 minutes after school where children have the opportunity to explore and develop their skills in a range of sports and activities.
With the choice of Football clubs to Multi-sports which include dodgeball, tchoukball, kwik cricket, tag rugby, hockey, basketball, soft archery, korfball, volleyball, tennis, handball, ultimate frisbee, gymnastics, multi-skills and much more. We run the entire operation from booking to delivery ensuring that we don’t add to schools already busy schedules and workloads.
Sports of the World
Sports of the World is a new and exciting scheme that we are running. Over the course of the year, we can come into your school and run 1 session per term (based on the 3-term year) for all of your students, working on sports which have originated from the following continents: Europe, North America, South America, Africa, Asia, and Oceania.
These sessions will be scheduled to suit your timetable and have been created to compliment schools wanting to be outward looking and embracing different World cultures and interests.
These sessions will be for 45 minutes each, and you can decide which of your classes take part.
Please note, we will provide all the equipment needed.
